I had a dream that me and my family were at a beautiful resort. The greens were GREEN and the water was BLUE. They weren't serving breakfast yet (which, in retrospect, was strange, because outside it was very bright and everyone was awake), so we went outside and got in the pool (which was also very beautiful). My mom started telling somebody in the pool that originally, she was going on a cruise by herself. But as the boat pulled away, she saw us waving goodbye and jumped off the boat and swam to shore, and we all vacationed together. Then I woke up.
Meaning
Dreaming about being on vacation indicates one of two things, or perhaps both. It means that I need to recharge, to break out of my usual routine and try something new. It can also mean that I'm patting myself on the back for all my hard work, saying that I deserve a reward. In this case, I believe it's both. I'd had a long week, got a lot accomplished. And now it was Saturday, time to get out of that weekly drag and have some fun.
